History
Dr. Benjamin Haynes is a native of Statesville, North Carolina that grew up playing multiple sports throughout the region. As a young athlete, he experienced the relief of chiropractic care which led him on this journey of helping others. For the last 5 years he has thoroughly enjoyed his time with Performance Rehab Associates and growing into a well rounded physician.
Education
Dr. Benjamin Haynes is a 2014 graduate of Wingate University where he obtained a Bachelor of Science. Dr. Haynes was a member of the 2010 Wingate Football conference championship team.
Dr. Haynes studied at Palmer College of Chiropractic Florida and graduated Summa Cum Laude with an Academic Excellence Award (highest honors) for earning Dean's List for each quarter. Through the University of Bridgeport, CT, he completed an additional 200+ hours of education and is certified to practice acupuncture. Years of continuing education has added Active Release Technique: Full Body certification to his treatment protocols.
Experience
Dr. Benjamin Haynes' clinical experience includes treating professional, amateur and school age athletes. NFL, NBA, Olympic, NASCAR and collegiate athletes from across the U.S. have trusted Dr. Haynes with their injury recovery and maintenance for various sports utilizing soft tissue modalities, certified medical acupuncture, prehab and chiropractic techniques to best aid in a specific treatment plan. His greatest moments in the office are implementing specific exercises to someone who has been to other offices searching for long term resolution of pain and symptoms, to realize it was strengthening of an area that the patient needed and not only an adjustment for multiple visits.
Outside of the office
Dr. Haynes enjoys his newest role as a father to a wonderful daughter named Marley (May 2022) and a sweet son named Benson (January 2024). Self-labeled outdoorsman, who loves all outside activities such as hiking, running road and trail races, fishing, hunting, pickleball at Caldwell Park, and most importantly spending time with his wife Leah and golden retrievers Dolly and Murray.
